I am a wife and a mother and a grandmother. I am an encourager and a lover of people. But most of all I am a lover of God. I have known Him intimately since 1986. However, in January of 2009, God called me to a deeper walk with Himself. The Word of the LORD came to me in the middle of that night in January, and He has been coming to me ever since. In April of this year, 2013, the LORD revealed to my heart that He has called me to be a prophet. All of the prophets of old said the same thing, "Repent for judgment is coming. Turn from your sins and live." I say the same thing, with the same results.
But the real cry of my heart is for people to make it. I have been praying almost non-stop for at least three years, "God, set the captives free; heal the broken hearted; set at liberty those who are bound; open blind eyes and deaf ears; open the prison doors and let the captives go free. LORD, comfort those who mourn; comfort those who mourn in Zion. Give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...that they might be the plantings of the LORD for His glory. And may they raise up the desolate places, the desolations of many generations. I have been praying almost non-stop for you.
So that is what this blog is about...freedom, healing, comfort, PEACE. The world is on fire. It is about to explode, but none of God's plans will ever be thwarted, and His plan for you is to prosper and not to harm and to give you hope and a future. It may not feel that way right now, but wait until God gets through. He will give you peace like a river and joy unspeakable and full of glory. So my prayer is that the God of peace Himself will sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ. For He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

God created us all to be overcomers. It is written that we are "more than conquerors through Him who loves us". We were never meant to fail. If your heart says, "I WANT TO PLEASE YOU, GOD!", then you belong to Him...regardless of what your success rate may have been in your past. That is what this blog is about...to teach you to overcome. And how will we do this?
It is only through the name and the power of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. So let's take Jesus by the hand and say, "LORD, I open my heart wide to You. Send the light of Your great love into every part of my heart. Shine Your light into all the dark, shame-filled corners. Shine Your light into all the broken, rejected, pain-filled corners. Shine Your light into all the heavy, weighted down, hopeless corners. Expose all of the lies that I have believed to the light of Your great love for me. You are going to have to come in and rescue me. The burden is too great. Come in and rescue me, deliver me, heal me. I cannot do this on my own, I have tried, but You said that anyone who calls upon the name of the LORD will be saved, so I am calling on Your name, JESUS! Come, LORD Jesus, come. Do what You have to do so that my heart will be wholly yours. I ask this in Jesus' holy name. AMEN!" |

I want you to make it! This practical "How-To" blog lays down basic principles, then moves to specific areas of our lives that are under attack. We are going to lay our hearts wide-open for all to see...the good, the bad, and the ugly. There is no temptation that comes against us that is not common to man. The enemy tells us we have to hide our sins. God tells us that everything that is hidden will be made known, and that we don't need to fear because fear involves torment. Perfect love casts out fear, and He has perfect love for us, and He is teaching us to have perfect love for ourselves and others.

We must be overcomers, for it is written, "Everyone who overcomes will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children. But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshippers, and all liars - their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death" (Revelations 21:7-8). Now, I know that everyone of us can see ourselves in this latter part, but no more. We are about to lay aside every weight and sin that has weighed us down, and we are going to run the race set before us by "fixing our eyes on Jesus," the author and finisher of our faith. He started this work inside of us, and HE is going to have to finish it. We can't. But let me tell you, HE is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could every ask or imagine if we will just keep our eyes on Him.
