AMERICA -

I have to say what is on my mind. I have thought things and said things the last few days that I have never thought or said before in my life, so I want to tell you what is going on inside of me.
My whole life I have believed that America was chosen by God and blessed by Him. Somehow I never questioned this. I just believed it was true. I always thought that Israel and America were the "chosen" ones and that God would always come and fight for us because we are His. It never occurred to me, despite all the wickedness I saw, to question this assumption.

Then in November God started giving me some hard words. I shared them with you in my live videos. On Monday, November 9th, the LORD said, "If you want to get involved with civilian affairs, you can never please Me. I am the One who sets up kings and kingdoms, and I am the One who takes them down." While making that video I made a conscious choice. I turned my back on my country and what is happening in this country, and I turned my face toward Jesus and started walking. I no longer thought about or worried about or even cared about who became president. This was HUGE! Then two days ago I got up in the middle of the night, and God took me to Jeremiah 50 and 51. I trembled. Read my post from two days ago.

Jeremiah 51: 6-9 says, "Flee from Babylon! Save yourselves! Don't get trapped in her punishment! It is the LORD's time for vengeance; He will repay her in full. Babylon (AMERICA) has been a gold cup in the LORD's hands, a cup that made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank Babylon's wine, and it drove them all mad. But suddenly Babylon, too, has fallen. Weep for her. Give her medicine. Perhaps she can yet be healed. We would have helped her if we could, but nothing can save her now. LET HER GO; ABANDON HER. Return to your own land. For her punishment reaches to the heavens; it is so great that it cannot be measured."

Oh my goodness! God said, "LET AMERICA GO; ABANDON HER. NOTHING CAN SAVE HER NOW. Her PUNISHMENT reaches to the heavens; it is so great it cannot be measured!!"

So I began to think about my country - really think about my country. In January of 2009, the month that President Obama first took office, the LORD started speaking to me. At this time, He also unlocked scripture for me. I began to see God's big plan unfold right in front of my eyes, but I could not see where America fit in this plan until I saw Babylon. Every time God described Babylon I thought, "This is America." But it still did not click to me. I was thinking of Babylon as a spirit, and it is, but two days ago when God said, "Let her go; abandon her," I thought of Babylon as a place. For the first time I questioned my assumption that America was chosen by God and blessed by Him. So I started thinking - who is America.
Isaiah 47 describes her as beautiful and proud, loving pleasure, living at ease, feeling secure. "O beautiful Babylon, sit now in darkness and silence. Never again will you be known as the queen of kingdoms. You said, "I will reign forever as queen of the world!" You did not reflect on your actions or think about their consequences. "Listen to this, you pleasure loving kingdom, living at ease and feeling secure. You say, "I am the only one, and there is no other. You felt secure in your wickedness. 'No one sees me,' you said. But your 'wisdom' and 'knowledge ' have led you astray, and you said, "I am the only one, and there is no other."

So to me America could be described as a beautiful woman covered with jewels and gold and fine linen, living in luxury. She is proud and boastful and arrogant. No. That's who she was. That's not who she is now. Now she is a spoiled child who constantly whines. Entitled. Ungrateful, unthankful. She throws a fit when she doesn't get what she wants. She doesn't play fair. She takes what doesn't belong to her, and she does not care who she hurts. She yells and screams when someone else has something she doesn't have. "It's not fair," she says.

AMERICA. Wow. How wrong could I have been? America was a gold cup in the LORD's hands, a cup that made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank America's wine, and it drove them all mad. (Jeremiah 51:7) The kings of the world have committed adultery with her. Because of her desires for extravagant luxury, the merchants of the world have grown rich. (Revelation 18:3) Her bountiful table became a snare, a trap that made her think that all was well. Her blessings caused her to stumble, and so she will get what she deserves. Her eyes went blind so that she could not see, and her back will now be bent forever. (Romans 11:9-10)

Oh my goodness! People, flee Babylon. Don't fight for her anymore for strong is the One who judges her. Then I heard another voice calling from heaven, "Come away from her, My people. Do not take part in her sins, or you will be punished with her. For her sins are piled as high as heaven, and God remembers her evil deeds." (Revelation 18:4-5). Don't get caught up in what is happening right now. Let her go. Face Jesus and open your heart wide. Let Him be your country. Let Him be your hiding place.

We are coming upon crazy times people, and in the coming days we will know how crazy. So how do we make it? Fix your eyes on Jesus, guard your heart, and give thanks. Seek first the kingdom of righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. This is God's hour, and we will know it.
