Witness Him Now
There is so much on my mind right now. Yesterday I saw a post about Beth Moore supporting Christianity Today who was calling for the impeachment of President Trump. Now I don't know if what this article said was true or not, but it got me to thinking about the time period we are living in. We have to be able to rightfully discern the difference between the truth and a lie. So I woke up last night thinking about fruit. You will know a tree by its fruit. "A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can't produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can't produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions." (Matthew 7:17) I have personally seen and picked and eaten from the fruit that comes from Beth Moore. God has used that woman mightily to advance His kingdom in the hearts of women. I also know that we are living in perilous times and that, if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived, and so I pray for my sister. "LORD, give Your daughter eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to understand what the Spirit is saying. Set her face like flint to do Your will. Help her to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus, and tear down every stronghold and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Set Your angels around her to keep her safe. Send light and truth and mercy and grace. Send Your unfailing love. Send love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness and gentleness and self control. Send wisdom and understanding and counsel and might and the fear of the LORD so that she will not go by what she sees or hears, but with righteousness she will make judgments. Pour out upon her the oil of joy LORD and give her a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. LORD, make her an immovable rock, a flame that sets a woodpile ablaze, and an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their warfare against her. Pour upon this woman the spirit of grace and prayer. Hold her safe. I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN OK, it is not for Beth Moore that I am writing this post. It is for God's people. We can't let ourselves get caught up in what the enemy is doing right now. Just like he has always done, the enemy is attempting to slander and discredit God's people. We must have discernment in this hour. We have to be for one another and not against. Matthew 7:12-23 says it this way: "DO TO OTHERS WHATEVER YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO DO TO YOU. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life (Treat others like you want to be treated.) is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act." Guys, if we are not treating everyone like we would want to be treated, we are really just vicious wolves in sheeps clothing. OH MY GOODNESS! Jesus, help us! Teach us how to treat others because we don't know how. Teach us to be for people and not against us. Teach us to unite and not divide. A house divided cannot stand. We have to fight for one another not against. I want you to know that God is drawing near to His people right now to unite. He is making us ONE with His Spirit and ONE with each other. I am watching this happen right before my eyes. Jesus prayed this prayer just before He went to the cross: "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in Me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just a You and I are one - as You are in Me, Father, and I am in You. And may they be in Us so that the world will believe You sent Me." (John 17:20-21) When this scripture is fulfilled and we become ONE, the world will believe that God sent Jesus. This is how they will know that we know God is when we love one another. This is everything. So according to God's word, if we see a brother or sister in sin, we are to go to them. In the case of Beth Moore, we cannot go to her but the Spirit can, so we pray. We have to get this one down: TREAT OTHERS LIKE WE WANT TO BE TREATED, because the next scripture is scary. "Not everyone who calls out to Me, 'LORD! LORD!' will enter the Kingdom of heaven. Only those who actually do the will of My Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to Me, 'LORD! LORD! We prophesied in Your name and cast out demons in Your name and performed many miracles in Your name.' But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God's laws.'" I don't know about you, but I don't want to be a vicious wolf in sheeps clothing. I don't want to say, "LORD! LORD!" on judgment day only to be rejected. God's Kingdom is a kingdom of honor and glory. It is a kingdom of unity and hope. It is a kingdom of joy and peace. It is a kingdom of safety and refuge. If we are not becoming that to others, we are missing the boat. LORD, I am asking for You to do in us what we cannot do for ourselves. Teach us to love one another, and please forgive us because we have failed. We open our heart wide to receive the Spirit who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine. Do Your work in us Holy Spirit. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN Merry Christmas Eve 2019 everyone from Costa Rica. May this Christmas season bring to us all the gift of love. It is not what we get, it is what we give. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) Grace and peace to you all. I love you! Terri Tidwell

I am sitting here meditating on what 2020 will bring. We are living in crazy, exciting times. There is a wide open window into heaven right now for God's Kingdom to advance. God is drawing near to His people. I am watching miracles happen every day in the hearts of people. But I can also see that right behind this movement of God will come persecution. On Christmas Eve, I read an article on Breitbart by Reverand Jim Wallis who wrote, "The so-called religious right will "fall" with President Donald Trump." Wallis said, "The teachings of Jesus are the most important question, whether we will be followers of Jesus or not. I think it is a question of power. Let me put it this way, I believe for some time that the religious right - the Franklin Graham, Jerry Falwell Jr. all of those, Ralph Reed - I believe the religious right will rise and fall with Donald Trump." That is a direct quote taken from that morning's news. I believe what he said was true.
The last week or so there has also been something floating around on social media that had our President saying, "It is not me that they are after, it is you. I am just in their way." I believe it. 2 Thessalonians talks about the events that will happen just before the LORD's second coming. "That Day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed - the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God...And you know what is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes. For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way.. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the LORD Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him by the splendor of His coming. With all my heart I believe that God is using our President to "hold back" this lawlessness. Before he took office the authorities that ruled our country were systematically removing everything that turned our heart toward God. Our current President has turned back the tide. Now, I know that many of you do not feel like our President is God's chosen man, but I can assure you, he is. Romans 13 says, "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished...They are God's servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience...Give respect and honor to those who are in authority. These are the clear COMMANDS of God. I wish I had understood these scriptures clearly when President Obama was in office, but I did not. Even though I prayed for him, I did not give him the respect and honor he deserved, for he was God's chosen man also. LORD, please forgive me. So one of the things we must do in the coming year is to get behind our President. Even if you don't like him, if we want to be obedient to God's commands, we have to! 1 Timothy 2 says, "I urge you, first of all, to pray for ALL PEOPLE. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. PRAY THIS WAY FOR KINGS and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." If we want to please God and live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity, we have to pray for our President, intercede in his behalf, and GIVE THANKS FOR HIM. God will do amazing things if we will become obedient in this area. God wants to unite His people right now, not divide them. In the area of politics - as well as many other areas, we have been divided. Now, let's unite. Let's come together as one to do God's will. This year, 2020, is a wide open door to prepare for whatever God is about to do. We have to trust Him. He is the One who exalts or abases anyone He pleases. Kings and kingdoms are in His hands. Let's not worry about that. Instead, let's focus on what God is doing inside of us. Let's become intentional - ESPECIALLY WITH OUR TIME. Let's become intentional with our prayers. Let's become intentional with our relationships. Let's become intentional with who we listen to and what we are watching. Let's become intentional with where we go and what we do. Let's become intentional about laying down everything that has gotten in the way of us serving God. We have one year to prepare. Let's make the most of it! With all my heart I feel like 2020 will be a year of harvest. "Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. There the day of the LORD will soon arrive. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will no longer shine. The LORD's voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem (that's us), and the heavens and the earth will shake. But the LORD will be a refuge for His people, a strong fortress for the people of Israel." (Joel 3:14-16) "Then you will know that I, the LORD your God, live in Zion, My holy mountain (that's us). Jerusalem will be holy forever, and foreign armies (principalities and powers in heavenly places) will never conquer her again. In that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. Water will fill the stream beds of Judah, and a fountain will burst forth from the LORD's Temple (that's us, too) watering the arid valley of acacias. But Egypt will become a wasteland and Edom will become a wilderness because they attacked the people of Judah and killed innocent people in their land." (Joel 3:17-19) "But Judah will be filled with people forever, and Jerusalem will endure through all generations. I will pardon My people's crimes, which I have not yet pardoned; and I, the LORD, will make My home in Jerusalem with My people." (Joel 3:20-21) So, my friends, look up! Your Salvation is drawing near. Ephesians 1 says, "At JUST THE RIGHT TIME all things in heaven and on earth will come together in Christ Jesus." The time is now. Blessings to you! May you, too, experience the goodness of God in the land of the living. Terri Tidwell 2020 Yesterday Todd King, my pastor, gave us his thoughts on what was going to happen in the coming year. Everything that man said rang true in my ears, and at the end of the service, God gave me a word for that man. Just now I woke up with that same word ringing in my ears. It is a word for all of us, and I want to speak it over you.
Todd shared that the last ten years God has given His church eyes to see and ears to hear and a heart to understand what He is doing, and that is so true. We can now see! Thank you Jesus! Then he said, "We are going into this next decade with 2020 vision. Now, it is time to speak." This year we will plant seeds that will bring forth a harvest of righteousness. It is time to speak all of the promises that God has given us, and it is at this time that God will make it grow. That Word that God has spoken into us is Spirit and Life, and it will not return void, but it will accomplish what God sends it to accomplish. He went on to say that In times past when we spoke the Word of God, some seeds fell on the footpath where the enemy came and took it before we understood it, other seeds fell on stony ground where there was not enough soil, so it didn't produce fruit. Others fell among thorns where it was choked out by the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. But now, he said, the seeds we plant now will fall on fertile ground where it will produce 30, 60, even a 100 times what was planted. (Matthew 13) Oh my goodness! WOW! But, we have to speak it. We cannot get the harvest if we don't plant the seed. We have to quit speaking idle words and begin to speak the truth. It is time to say what God says. If He says, "By My stripes, you are healed," we need to start saying it. If He says, "No weapon formed against you will prosper," we need to start saying it. If He says, "All things work together for good to those who are called according to My purpose because you are being conformed into My image," we need to start saying it. If He says, "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper and not to harm," we need to start saying it. 2 Peter 1:3-4 says that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, and we will be partakers of His divine nature through His great and precious promises, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Did you hear that? God has given us everything we need to be partakers of His god-like nature. Wow! And we get this through His great and precious promises. Seed! It is time to plant seed! It is time to start speaking out loud the promises that our God has given us for ourselves and for others - then faith comes. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." It is faith that God is after. Without faith it is impossible to please God because we must BELIEVE that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So I was sitting there listening to my pastor speak words of affirmation over his congregation when God took me to Isaiah 32:20, "The LORD will greatly bless His people. Wherever they plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up. Their cattle and donkeys will graze freely." WOW! The time has come when God is about to GREATLY BLESS HIS PEOPLE. Wherever we plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up. I am believing for a hundred fold harvest - or even greater! God said it! It will happen. I want to read the rest of this passage. Nothing grew "Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops. Justice will rule in the wilderness and this righteousness will bring peace. Yes, it will bring quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in safety, quietly at home. They will be at rest. Even if the forest should be destroyed and the city torn down, the LORD will greatly bless His people. Wherever they plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up. Their cattle and donkeys will graze freely. (Isaiah 32:15-20) The time has come! The Spirit is being poured out on us from heaven. Our land will yield its bountiful crops. No matter what happens - the whole world may fall apart - God's people will have peace. We will have quiet assurance and confidence that God is on His throne and that all of His plans will work out for good, because that is what He said. So it is time to stop complaining. It is time to stop groaning and moaning. It is time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves. It is time to stop being dissatisfied and discontent. It is time to stop speaking doubt and unbelief, and it is time to start speaking the truth because whatever seeds we choose to plant will come to fruition. "Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and we will eat the fruit thereof." (Proverbs 18:21) WORDS! The words we speak are seed! It is planting time! I am going to use this post to start declaring the great promises God has given me. What promises has He given you? What do you need from God? What does God say about what you are going through? Embrace the truth and begin to speak it. Then watch what happens! The Spirit is being poured out from heaven! Bountiful crops will spring up! Blessings, my friends! May your harvest be great also!
