Give Him thanks!

​This morning the LORD woke me up with a truth that was so clear and concise. I have been saying it for years, but you know when something hits your heart there is power. It hit my heart this morning that every battle we ever fight can be won with praise and thanksgiving. When we thank God in every circumstance, the enemy of our souls is disarmed, and once again Christ makes a public spectacle of him. Satan has no power. The power belongs to our God. We can rejoice with confident hope because greater is He who is within me than he who is in the world. We declare that truth to the whole world when we "in everything give thanks". So in sickness, I will give thanks. God is 
doing something good inside of me, healing me from the inside out. In lack, I give thanks. God is again working all things together for my good, and He WILL supply all my needs. When death comes, and it will, I will give thanks because my God has defeated death, and we WILL live forevermore. If God is for us, who can be against us? What can man do to us? So with a heart of gratitude I will face every obstacle for I 
know that "all things work together for good in my life because my God is conforming me to the image of His dear Son." In this I will give thanks.
